It’s not any news any more as dated from the last weekend during the Idol Tour concert in San Jose – but there are now available some more details about this episode.
As we read in Examiner.com on the 16th of July (note written by Brittny Nielsen) members of Fred Phelps’, anti-gay and anti-Jew Westboro Baptist Church showed up in San Jose, CA during the concert Idol Tour made there last weekend. With one purpose: to protest against Adam Lambert’s performance.
According to the author,
the church has long been notorious for its protesters who hold inflammatory signs and chant potentially hurtful words. Presumably the anti-gay church was protesting Lambert, who revealed that he was gay in the June 2009 issue of Rolling Stone.
(…) Lambert was reportedly unfazed by the protesters.
