This time, Pinella is coming closer to some known and unknow details from Adam Lambert’s life.

- He was born in Indianapolis, but moved to the San Diego area when he was one.

- He started an acting career at age 10.
- He’s gay.
- And he finished as the runnerup on Season 8 of American Idol.

“One of my favorite movies of all time is Velvet Goldmine, by Todd Haynes, and the scene that comes to mind is when Ewan McGregor’s character is first introduced and he’s a singer, a rock star, and the camera comes in on him — he’s on stage — and he gets naked, pours beer all over himself, then glitter on top of that. He shakes the glitter can around his crotch like he was jerking off onto the audience and then lights the foot of the stage on fire. And to me, that just sums up everything that a rock star should be. It’s like a fantasy sequence. That movie is absolutely brilliant — and a little underrated in my opinion, too. Was it only me who had the impression that they both already get their cars?
No matter what I thought, the true is that both Adam and Kris will get their cars this Thursday, according to the ontheredcarpet.com from the 13th of July:
American Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert are getting new cars. Every year Ford awards cars to the top two Idol finalists.
OnTheRedCarpet.com has learned that Kris and Adam will get their keys on Thursday at a car dealership in North Hills, California.
Kris will be driving away in a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Adam will be right behind him in a 2010 Ford Mustang convertible.

The Poll
The Mr-L.org’s Adam Lambert’s fans: Gender n’Age Overview Poll was running in the period 4th of July – 10th of July. There have been placed 1294 votes, out of which 78 votes have been removed as proven corrupted*.
The poll has been made online only and distributed across Adam Lambert’s fansites, that is why the results of it cannot be considered as reflecting ALL Adam’s fans – simply because it does not cover those who are not using those sites.

I have been for longer time aware of the existence of this site and acknowledged that they spent all their time to among others prove the point that the elder females’ massive interest in American Idol is ridiculous.
Fair enough – and they probably understand what it means to have the right to free speech. But what they don’t understand is that once they mess up others’ websites, they should consider going back to kindergarden in order to learn the basic rules of proper behaviour between humans.
So yes – they tried to mess up this poll by getting the idea that they will all vote as ‘Man 70+’:
etc, etc.. (please note that ‘Madam’ is the nickname for Adam used at that site)
All 78 (6%) votes have been placed in this category:
so without thinking twice, I was forced to entirely remove it.
The Results
It means then that the new, ‘corrected’ final results look like below:
Conclusions:
* the dominated gender at the Adam-fansites are females
* the 2 biggest groups of Adam’s fans with equal percentage (20%) are
women 20-29 years and
women 40-49 years old
followed by the 3rd biggest fangroup of
girls 13-19 years old (17%)
* summing up and comparing the 2 dominated fan groups:
YOUNGER FEMALES (age 0-39) dominated group: 619 votes equal to 51% of all votes
MATURE FEMALES (age 40+): 533 votes equal to 45% of all votes
Explanation
The term ‘COUGAR‘ is a slang term describing ‘an older woman who sexually pursues men at least eight years her junior. The term has been used in TV series, advertising and film’ (source: wikipedia.org).
Using this word to describe the mature women’s fascination of the personality of Adam Lambert seems to be wrong choice of words, as not all mature women are cougars by definition.

It’s actually pretty boring poll, but at the same time very useful as a base to make any type of glambalysis.

For some time ago I published a blog post called ‘Adam Lambert and the Burning Women’ where I assumed that the most visible group of Adam’s fans are mature women.
I still think so!
But I received a comment from a reader called jools whose position was completely different:
Yeah, you are underestimating Adam’s appeal. Older fans may be more vocal and may also be in a better position to publish articles, but do not assume that he is not quite the teen girls idol. There was a long thread on the official Adam Lambert site that asked peoples ages. There were more teens than any other age group, followed by 20 somethings, then 40 somethings. He appeals to all ages and the ‘he is only for cougars’ argument is just another way to try to knock him.
I certainly don’t want to knock Adam (!!!) but then all I would like to know is the REAL age and gender of Adam’s fans.
So please – place your anonymous vote and spread the word to every Adam’s fan you know to do the same, so we all can get the REAL picture.

Adam Lambert’s ‘Ring of Fire’ – collection of fan-tributes
There is no doubt that ‘Ring Of Fire’ is one of the most outstanding and controversial American Idol performances aired in Season 8.
Called as ‘indulgent rubbish’ by Simon Cowell, at the same time the all-favourite song/performance for many Adam-fans.
I found some tributes to the Ring of Fire and would like to share thatm as they’re simply amazing.
