Brazen’s comments on the pre-idol house recordings with Adam Lambert
Posted by MsAlex in All Adam, Music, Past, Past Performances on June 23rd, 2009

As mentioned in my previous post, the UK based producer Brazen aka Fonzerelli has co-operated with Adam Lambert in the pre-Idol days. Their project was called ‘ Digital Glitter’ and its fruits are some interesting house / dance recordings, such as ‘Kiss and Tell’ and others.
On the 21 the of June May (!) 2009, Brazen issued a statement at his myspace site in which we read:
(…) adam and myself ‘fonzerelli’ had worked on a few tracks together as a ‘project’ before he entered the american idol competition
only a few songs were released on the mena music label at the time
when adam entered the comp he (like everyone else) had to sign a contract, which is standard practice, that restricts them from having other musical commitments outside of idol for a certain period of time
obviously i was really sorry to have to let adam go as he was by far the best singing talent that i’ve ever worked with – a genuine ‘born to sing type’ of guy and really pleasent as well!
adam felt had to follow his dream or at least give it a try or he might regret it in the future – singing on my & mena music tracks would’ve only taken him so far and he needed a major label to propel him onto a worldwide stage
he deserves every sucess and he has my full support
as far as new digital glitter tracks go there are a few not yet released but i might put them up for free for fans of adam (…)
take care
fonzerelli

Yesterday Arjanwrites blog has discovered that Adam Lambert has been performing also with the Northern Irish artist Aaron McClelland, aka Fonzerelli aka Brazen who is one of the most established and hottest production talents in the world, remixing many European dance acts and championed by several high-profile DJs.
In Wikipedia we are reading that

Aaron’s rework of Adam Lambert – Kiss & Tell has already attracted 291,000 hits on 1 video on YouTube alone
Their cooperation resulted in amog others a remix of the classic TinaTurner song ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’. Hear it below:

Adam Lambert in ‘Debbie Loves Dallas’ musical from 2006
Posted by MsAlex in Past, Past Performances on June 6th, 2009

Once you are an Adam-fan, you probably saw the pictures of Adam Lambert in the rugby costume and blond hair that have been present for some time at the Web.
‘Debbie Loves Dallas’ was called the show, and Adam was starring as an all-American football jock. The production was done by the Lake Tahoe and directed and choreographed by Jennifer Lopez’s ex husband Cris Judd.
Suzi Slye Elasik watched the show and was even photographed with Adam Lambert. Especially for RadarOnline.com she told about her impressions:
Adam played the lead in the play opposite Debbie. He was wonderful in it – he sang, he danced and his stage presence was amazing. Adam was so clean cut, polite and a gentleman – the son every mother would love. He was friendly, humble, gentle and snuggly. I was so smitten, being a grandma that he hugged me and was so nice.

According to Radar Online.com
The musical received rave reviews, The play does have some topless scenes and was touted as “Tahoe’s hottest sexy adult revue.” It played at Harveys Lake Tahoe Casino and Resort to an over 21 crowd only.

Adam Lambert’s Jewish performances – the story behind
Posted by MsAlex in Past, Past Performances, Performances, Videos on June 3rd, 2009
The majority of Adam’s fans have probably seen the videos of Adam Lambert singing Israeli peace anthem ‘Shir Lashalom’ in Hebrew – on youtube.com.
I found an article written by Danielle Berrin from JewishJournal.com in which she explains the background of this performance.
We read that Adam performed Shir Lashalom at a 2005 tribute concert to slain Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. He sang the anthem together with Israeli-American singers Maya Haddi and Noa Dori.
Rabin also sang Shir Lashalom just before his assassination on November 4, 1995
“the song was sung at the rally where he was assassinated and is often associated with his assassination and its aftermath in Israeli culture. A copy of the song’s lyrics was found on Rabin’s body, soaked in his blood.”

In 2007, he also performed at the Kol Nidre service at Temple of the Arts at the Saban Theatre, where he sang the duet “The Prayer” with Cantor Illysia Pierce.
Lambert also joined Temple of the Arts to perform at a memorial concert for Yitzhak Rabin, where he sang Shir LeShalom at American Jewish University

According to Rabbi David Baron, spiritual leader of Temple of the Arts at the Saban Theatre
He was spectacular. People were just blown away by him. He has that star talent; even among stars, he’s a standout.
And during the American Idol Rabbi said:
He’s the shoo-in to win this year’s ‘Idol’ and if you listen to the judges, Randy, Paula—and Simon, the toughest critic—they all say the same thing, ‘You’re already a star. The whole congregation is rooting for him, calling and voting, they’re just so excited that he made it. He’s really captured everbody’s imagination.

We can remember very well how he can blow everybody away inging The US National Anthem. Just like it happened during his homecoming to San Diego.
But he can sing it also in a totally different( – George Orwell’s) -way….

As we read in Rockstarweekly.com
What’s interesting, we also get to know that Zodiac Show originally ’started as an after-hours party amongst friends’ and *has organically grown into a full scale show that takes place periodically in Hollywood California that celebrates, passion, art, love, diversity and talent.’
