Adam Lambert has been confirmed to be starring in the new motion picture The Zodiac Show: Metamorphosis, alongside Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar. The film, which documents a live performance of The Zodiac Show from 2008, is currently in post-production according to the latest report on the Internet Movie Database. No official release date has been issued.(…)
The Zodiac Show: Metamorphosis is a concert documentary that follows one particular show that took place at the Legendary Avalon Hollywood on 9/9/08. Starring Adam Lambert, The Pussycat Doll’s Carmit Bachar, Allan Louis, Brian Friedman, Ty Taylor, Alisan Porter, Scarlett Cherry and a colorful, talented cast that spans many genre’s.

What’s interesting, we also get to know that Zodiac Show originally ’started as an after-hours party amongst friends’ and *has organically grown into a full scale show that takes place periodically in Hollywood California that celebrates, passion, art, love, diversity and talent.’

This time, Pinella is coming closer to some known and unknow details from Adam Lambert’s life.

KNOWN
- He’s 27-years-old.
- He was born in Indianapolis, but moved to the San Diego area when he was one.
- He’s Jewish.
- He started an acting career at age 10.
- He’s gay.
- And he finished as the runnerup on Season 8 of American Idol.

(PERHAPS) UNKNOWN
- He has several NorCal connections.
- He has family in Petaluma.
- His mom lives in Burlingame (soon moves to L.A).
- He has friends in St. Helena, Saratoga and Napa.
- Trying out for AI, his greatest fear was that his acting career would be his biggest hurdle.

“I went into it knowing I could do it but they’re not gonna think I can. I knew that the theatre thing was going to be a stigma. They tend to be like, ‘Oh, you’re from Broadway, you can’t do that recording thing.’”

- His confidence level skyrocketed during Hollywood Week.

“I was really able to prove myself then. That was the first point where I saw the competition and I thought, ‘Oh, maybe I do have a shot at this.’”

Brazen’s comments on the pre-idol house recordings with Adam Lambert

As mentioned in my previous post, the UK based producer Brazen aka Fonzerelli has co-operated with Adam Lambert in the pre-Idol days. Their project was called ‘ Digital Glitter’ and its fruits are some interesting house / dance recordings, such as ‘Kiss and Tell’ and others.
On the 21 the of June May (!) 2009, Brazen issued a statement at his myspace site in which we read:

(…) adam and myself ‘fonzerelli’ had worked on a few tracks together as a ‘project’ before he entered the american idol competition
only a few songs were released on the mena music label at the time
when adam entered the comp he (like everyone else) had to sign a contract, which is standard practice, that restricts them from having other musical commitments outside of idol for a certain period of time
obviously i was really sorry to have to let adam go as he was by far the best singing talent that i’ve ever worked with – a genuine ‘born to sing type’ of guy and really pleasent as well!
adam felt had to follow his dream or at least give it a try or he might regret it in the future – singing on my & mena music tracks would’ve only taken him so far and he needed a major label to propel him onto a worldwide stage
he deserves every sucess and he has my full support
as far as new digital glitter tracks go there are a few not yet released but i might put them up for free for fans of adam (…)

Yesterday Arjanwrites blog has discovered that Adam Lambert has been performing also with the Northern Irish artist Aaron McClelland, aka Fonzerelli aka Brazen who is one of the most established and hottest production talents in the world, remixing many European dance acts and championed by several high-profile DJs.
In Wikipedia we are reading that

Prior to reaching the final 4 in American Idol, Fonzerelli teamed up with favourite to win Adam Lambert under their Digital Glitter guise and has been close to the singer since, helping him out with promotion. Aaron’s rework of Adam Lambert – Kiss & Tell has already attracted 291,000 hits on 1 video on YouTube alone

Their cooperation resulted in amog others a remix of the classic TinaTurner song ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’. Hear it below:

March 2000 – Adam Lambert performing in High School show – video

This video has been made on the 18th of March 2000 and Adam is performing in the High School show at MT Carmel.
As we have learnt from Adam in the recent interviews, he wasn’t feeling very sexy with himself at that time: a bit overweighted, a bit ‘ugly duckling’.
But what I personally can see is the preludium to Adam’s dance shows in Zodiac times later on – a great and sexy dance abilities. Your thoughts?

Regret the bad quality of the clip – but this is the only one available.
Adam is the lead character for the “War” section in the middle of the sequence.
