(If you are able…) – vote for the best looks of Adam Lambert on Elle.com
As we all know, Elle.com was featuring Kradison in the November issue of the magazine and now, on their website there is a voting parade: they found some of Adam’s most diverse looks and challenge the readers to vote for them.
Ok, if you are able to choose the best of Adam’s looks – go and vote! (I can’t choose since all are the best, sorry!…)
New York Post loves Adam Lambert’s studded jacket …
A short mention in the New York Post today – this time in the Fashion section, (by Jarett Wieselman):
As for Adam, this studded ja-a-a-a-a-a-acket was eye-catching, even by his platform bootie standards. But I loved it — as I do everything he wears, does, says, sings, applies.

In connection with his interview for Details Magazine, Adam Lambert makes a countdown of his favorite items, films, music, etc.
It begins with
Position 8
Favorite musical: Jesus Christ Superstar’
“The score is unbelievable. Jesus Christ Superstar was a concept album first, by Andrew Lloyd Webber, before it was ever a musical, so it really has its roots in rock and roll. My dad had the original recording on vinyl, and I used to listen to it in his record player. I think that it has a lot of integrity as a rock piece, and the song ‘Heaven On Their Minds’ is amazing.”
See Adam singing ‘Heaven On Their Minds’ from the musical, recorded in his pre-Idol years:
Position 7
Favorite Eyeliner: MAC eye kohl
I’ve pretty much always used MAC. They have these kohl eyeliners that are really soft so you can smudge them and diffuse the line to make it less harsh. I use a black pencil called Smolder sometimes and another deep blue one called Blooz.”
Position 6
Favorite Cocktail: Ketel One martini, straight up with a twist
“If I really just want a cocktail, I’ll drink a martini up with a twist—usually with Ketel One. Sometimes, I’ll have Maker’s Mark on the rocks with a splash of soda, but nothing fruity.”
Position 5
Fave Hangover Cure: 5-Hour Energy drink
I drink one every day—maybe two if I’m busy recording—and I think it helps knock me out of a hangover pretty well. I’m usually a coffee drinker, but coffee isn’t the best thing for your voice because it’s acidic. Plus, I drink lots of water at night if I’ve been drinking—it helps. Water, water, water, water, water.
Position 4
Cartoon: X-Men
“I was really into the nineties X-Men cartoon. My little brother and I actually had the trading cards, and he had the comic books. I loved the superhero thing, and I always thought Storm was so fierce. I saw the movies when they came out, of course—not with my brother, but we talked about them.”
Position 3
Condom: Durex
“I’ve been using Durex, I guess—I just kind of use them. I don’t even think about it! I mean, I use ultra-thin. And I wear black 2(x)ist underwear. They fit really well.”
Position 2
Room-Service Meal: Coffee and an omelet, any time of day
“I like breakfast all day long. I order a little pot of coffee and an omelet. The Sofitel in L.A., which is where we stayed while Idol taped, had amazing room service.”
Position 1
Gay Bar: Saint Felix in West Hollywood
“I prefer a mixed crowd—it’s more interesting—but my favorite gay bar, Saint Felix, is more like a bar-restaurant. It’s small, it’s cute, and it’s a little bit less scene-y and obnoxious. The drinks are really great and so is the food—they have tapa-style dishes to share. Plus, I know the owner, and they’re really nice to me there.”

Adam Lambert in InStyle magazine about his album and favorite fashion & style
Posted by MsAlex in All Adam, Fashion, Interviews, Press & Media on October 18th, 2009
In the recent November issue of INStyle magazine Adam Lambert dishes about his favourite fashion and beauty brands and much more.
Interview made by Karen Levy.

Itching to work with?
Lady Gaga. She has a bold look and her music is awesome. We could have a lot of fun performing together.
Favorite discovery
The IPhone. I love the Bump app that lets you exchange contact information with someone by bumping your phones together and Speak Easy is really great for recording vocals.
Signature scent
Dior Homme. It’s so yummy
Style Icons
David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Prince and Michael Jackson were big influences on me.
Fashion faves
Gareth Pugh has a men’s line that’s unbelievable. There’s Skin Graft, a L.A. design house that made a lot of my leather jackets and accessories on Idol, Brian Lichtenberg who does holographic leggings and sweatshirts, Diesel jeans and Loree Rodkin jewelry.
Drink of choice
I’m addicted to those 5-Hour Energy shots and unsweetened ice coffees.
Recent splurge
My four day get away to Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara. It costs a pretty penny but was well worth it.
Beauty essentials
OPI nail polish, M.A.C. Smolder eyeliner and Bad Head styling products.
Necessary extravagance
Manicures. Often I paint my own nails, but on tour there is manicurist on site – and she does a much better job!
If I didn’t audition for Idol..
I would still be a chorus boy in ‘Wicked’ in Los Angeles.
Looking forward to
My album – it’s 100 percent me. Rock, pop, dance, electronic and funk – a little bit of everything.
Adam Lambert’s clothes from the Idol Tour sold on ebay.com
As simple as it sounds, after the Idol Tour has been finished, Adam Lambert’s clothes he used on the tour has been auctioned on ebay.
It is not sure how the ebay user amazingdesignerfinds from Nashville, Tennessee has acquired those precious items , but it is not any doubt that they were authentic and what more – not washed or dry cleaned after the concert.
I assume that was the most precious thing about them (Tour sweat mixed with Dior Homme must be the true scent of Adam).
DENIM JACKET
Anyway, as far as the denim jacket is concerned, it has been sold in the category: Music Memorabilia, after 43 bids to the round sum of USD 2000 on the 3rd of October.

Adam Lambert’s new-old pictures – by hairroinsalon.com
Those new-old pics have been spread out today at the majority of Adam-related sites. I found them at ondt_ai and they wear a watermark of hairroinsalon.com…

Following the hairroinsalon tip, I found out that this hair salon based in L.A. has been styling Adam Lambert’s hair many times in the past. On the 21st of May @hairroinsalon tweetted:

Also, according to their blog
Luis Payne, a Senior Stylist at the amazing Hollywood salon, Hairroin, represented Sebastian Professional at the Young Hollywood Awards and touched up Adam Lambert’s hair at the event.
I only watched bits and pieces of American Idol this year, but that’s more than I’ve ever watched before. I’ve never been a big fan of the show, but I liked Adam Lambert. He was so different than the other contestants–everyone else on those shows is so safe and boooring. I would much rather have someone over the top and performancey. Scream your head off and wear a full face of makeup. Much better than strumming politely like a second rate John Mayer.

Also, Luis wrote his impression of Adam after styling him to the YHA Awards on the same blog:
I’d Have to say the highlight of the evening is when Adam Lambert came to our haircare lounge backstage. The last time i Styled his hair was for the Zodiac Show ‘08. Hairroin salon has been Styling hair for this eclectic Show for the last several Years.
After Greeting Adam he quickly sat down for a hair touch up. Adam couldn’t believe we were there and was stoked by our presence. He said it was nice to see familiar faces.
After the YHA ceremony, Luis also wrote on the hollywoodlife.com, how to make a pompadour same as Adam’s … Interested? check it here.

How to get a haircut like Adam Lambert during American Idol? Hear the professionals.
The Emerson Salon from Seattle published on their blog (back in April 2009) the short description of how to get a haircut as Adam Lambert during AI.
Hear the professionals:
“This bold look is great for the modern, chic male who likes to be noticed. Here is how to get hair like Adam Lambert:
*Book a consultation with your stylist about your all over color. If you are naturally a medium-light blond (naturally or colored) you will want to book what we call a “color correction.” The appropriate amount of warmth/depth must be added first before applying a permanent or demipermanent blue-black hue. If you are naturally/colored brown you may achieve this look in one step with a permanent or demipermanent blue-black color. Make sure to use barrier cream around the hairline as the color might stain the skin!
* Adam’s haircut can be achieved by cutting a medium-length men’s cut with shears. Make sure there is a minimum of 2″ of hair on top and a minimum of 1″ of hair on the back and sides. Leave the bang area extra long in comparison. A razor can be liberally used all over to create texture (unless you have fine hair) and height. Then, the razor may be used to deliberately add texture and shape to the bang area while making sure not to eliminate length.
*Some products to achieve this look are: Kevin Murphy’s Luxury Wash and Rinse, Easy Rider (before drying to control frizz) Sticky Business (texture and hold) and Fudge’s Membrane Gas (extreme hold). Piece out whatever height you like, bring the bang to the side and apply the Sticky Business conservatively. Then add spray.”

Adam Lambert is androgynous. And man in eyeliner isn’t bizarre – by nationalpost.com
Posted by MsAlex in All Adam, Comments, Fashion, Press & Media on July 7th, 2009
Julie Beun-Chown from Canwest News Service on July 02, 2009 in the article published at nationalpost.com admits:
And then she is citing Jane McKay, senior makeup artist with M.A.C Cosmetics:
And the author of the article adds:
‘Men in mascara? It may surprise some, but not the marketers driving the male vanity bus. Initially stumped by the perceived Liberace-level foppishness of man makeup and cringe-inducing wearers like Michael Jackson and Boy George, companies have now turned to an old-is-new male concept: grooming.’
