Perez has been inspired by Adam and made some crotch-fun at the Alexa Chung interview recently. He wrote on his blog:

Adam Lambert fallout is now affecting US!
Perez was promoting his new book on MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung on Thursday. Conversation lead to the Idol runner-up and crotchgrabbing…
One thing lead to another and P-Nasty spontaneously and JOKINGLY placed his head near Alexa’s girly bits – the closest he’s been to a vagina in years! While Lambert’s AMA performance was sexual, this was completely not sexual in any which way.
We thought it was funny!
Well, apparently, a trigger-happy MTV exec didn’t agree and.. well, just watch what happened.

Rod took it very easy and even if he didn’t see the AMAs performance, asked by the ladies from The View about what he is thinking about kissing a guy and the head in the crotch moves on stage he said:
‘Oh, there is nothing wrong with that, it’s rock n’ roll!’

Believe it or not, the Miami Herald included a one sentence notice in their section ‘The Week That Was’:
AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS: Adam Lambert shocked America by simulating oral sex on stage. Madonna sent him a bouquet of roses after the show.
Even from this one sentence it is clear what is Miami Herald’s opinion about Adam’s AMA performance…..

Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen has been invited for an interview in BBC Breakfast recently (11/6/2009), where he talked among others about Adam Lambert and possible future cooperation with him.

BBC: American Idol: Queen played effectively and.. did you discover a replacement for Freddie Mercury during this show? there were a lot of speculations about one of the contestants.
Roger Taylor, Queen: Well, you are very well informed. No, we didn’t discover a replacement for Freddie , never we could do that. We did play in the finale of American Idol with the two final guys, one of whom is called Adam BOLTON (SIC!). He didn’t actually win, he only got 49 millions of votes, I think but he is one of the most phenomenal singers and I think at some point in the future we’d love to – Brian and I (who are basically Queen – you know.. what’s left) would like to do something with him maybe. It may happen – we might do something with him in the future. He is phenomenally talented. He has one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard.

Recently mtv.com made an interview with Lady Gaga vs. Alexa Chang, today there is part of another video interview, also made by mtv.com, (mtvnews) where she is among others asked about collaboration with Adam Lambert. Gaga basically describes how she met him, got contacted by RCA about writing for him and gave him one of her songs (‘Fever’). There is however not any personal comment neither to his person or the collaboration itself – she keeps it professional…

Apparently, Joy Behar is focused on Adam Lambert in these days, this time she asks Barry Manilow about Adam’s AMAs performance and if he should perform on the GMAs next day. Barry says:
But he was apparently disappointed that Adam didn’t sing on AMAs something beautiful that would match his ‘fantastic instrument’ of a voice.
