Adam Lambert as one of the most successful Idol contestants of all time – blog by accessAtlanta.com

A quite subjective opinion has been published on the 2nd of October 2009 on accessatlanta.com written by Rodney Ho with the title: ‘My picks for most successful ‘Idol’ contestants of all time’.

Adam Lambert is at the position 6 …

6. Adam Lambert. Okay, he has not released an album yet, much less finish it. He didn’t even win. But he’s a tornado force to be reckoned with, a glam rocker “Idol” has never seen before and probably never will again. He made the cover of “Rolling Stone” when he came out. He’s the first “Idol” non winner to make the cover before the actual winner. The man hit No. 1 on the Amazon charts this week two months before its release.

Presenting TattooApparel – the brand behind Adam Lambert’s pendants on Idol Tour

Adam dressing room scarab

The Idol Tour is over now, Adam collected some amazing reviews and critics. And at the same time the Tour was the platform on which he established and presented his own style and image.
Apart from the music choices, choreography and outfits, one of the most characteristic and visible elements in Adam’s performances was… his jewerly.

The pendants he wore in every concert came from the California-based brand, TatooApparel, producing ‘cutting edge apparel and accessories for Rock n’ Roll, Musician, Tattoo Art and Kounter Kulture Lifestyles’.

And below is the story of how those great pendants found their way on Adam’s neck:

ADAM_05a

Adam’s fan club (The Adam Lambert Connection) purchased several pieces of TattooApparel’s rocker jewelry for Adam. Among those pieces were the Spiked Crystal Pendant that he wore on the Idol show several times (among others during Whole Lotta Love performance and in the first Rolling Stones article) and a large blue crystal and crossed keys pendant (however no photo evidence on this one yet).
The Tour- pendant is called Scarab and he also was wearing it in another Rolling Stone article

The pieces are available at
TattooApparel
Southern California retail boutique
Perpetual Vogue (230 E. Whittier Blvd., La Habra CA)
or online – worldwide from the websites
www.TattooApparel.com or
http://www.rockerjewelry.com/.

Additionally, it’s worth to know that TattooApparel has been actively supporting and donating to the recent Adam Lambert’s charity on donorchoose.com.
