Adam Lambert’s weight loss plan? – by ifitandhealthy.com

The article published at the site called ifitandhealthy.com seems a bit strange to me: there is no author and no sources specified.
Anyway, what we read about is Adam Lambert’s weight loss plan.
See the excerpts below:

Adam Lambert’s weight loss is coming, which creates many questions. It is hardly surprising that a celebrity wants to lose weight, right? Right. So, what is so special about Adam Lambert’s weight loss? There is nothing special about Adam Lambert’s weight loss, but I do not really understand why he needs to lose weight.

Then the unknown author cites Adam Lambert from an unknown source (or is it just me who missed this interview?….)

I started seeing a trainer. I just want to get into better shape. It is less about the aesthetic than it is about just the way you feel when you are in shape and healthy. I am a little fat. I should really go to the gym more.

I am always striving to be thinner, but who is not?

His menu?

Greens and whole grains and water.

The unknown’s author comment is that the diet is not very healthy. And in the article you also may find the (sponsored?) link to the weight loss website….

Read the whole article here and give your oppinion about Adam’s weight in the poll below:

I don’t think he needs to lose weight, but I think he needs to tone up. He is so busy, with almost no time to himself; writing, recording, rehearsing, performing, giving interviews-he will feel and perform much better if he gets fitter and eats appropriately.

If that’s true, as reported by OK Magazine, sounds like he is following a macrobiotic diet. Madonna did this during her tours in the 90′s. She said it gave her tremendous energy.

Maybe his want to be skinnier is really a want to be more in shape. That doesn’t necessarily mean shed 20 pounds, but more like tone certain areas.

What is needed? A combination of the following: muscle contractions, proper diet, nutrition, consuming plenty of water and rest. Let’s take muscle contractions, let’s say for the abs. You can get muscle contractions the old fashion way doing sit ups, crunches, etc. or you can get them using something like the Contour Ab Belt. ( http://www.thecontour.com ). An ab belt is good for those that can’t do those types of exercises – like people that have had back surgery or people always on the go like Adam. You can still get the muscle contractions through EMS. But then you still need to have good habits of proper nutrition, drinking plenty of water and getting enough rest.

Greens and whole grains and water? That’s definitely not a healthy diet, he needs protein, too at least! People don’t realize it’s all about exercising and balance in what you eat.
