Adam Lambert’s ‘For Your Entertainment’ snippets – which are your faves? – poll

This is a try to see which are favorite tunes on the basis of 30 sec. snippets released today on amazon.com, according to Adam’s fans.
Is this cruel to choose from the 14 the best ones? I don’t know, but assume that all of us have some preferences, which is quite natural, I guess.
The poll is of the type ‘multiple choice’ and up to 10 answers are possible to give, including also: ALL.
Since the poll is ONLY for the FANS of the album, there is no possibility to answer: NONE.
Stalkers, non-friends and other jerks must go to other places to release their anger and jealousy.

And please leave your COMMENT below for Adam’s sake! Let’s discuss!

Fist of all, I just want to say that I am sick to death of people saying, well I am a big fan of Adam but…what bull!!! There are no buts when describing Adam or his music. i love all the songs from the snippets so will have to hear the full songs to pick a favorite if I ever will be able to! All I know is that I love, LOVE his single FYE! It sticks oin my head, makes me wanna dance and makes me feel sexy. And makes me wanna follow him to the ends of the earth. What more can I say and what more would I want for a first release. Wow…..just WOW!!!

This is like asking what your favorite American Idol song from Adam. Ask 20 people, you get 20 opinions. Your poll right now shows no “breakout” favorite. Everybody likes something different. This is proof that there are no bad songs on this record.

I think the snippets are fantastic. They really are very different, and not a lot of sound a likes. If I Had You sounds like it could be an Adam and Allison duet at some time in the future. People will love that. His vocalization is different in each too, which is great. We know there will be fire works in each song, because he does go for the high ones. I hear big hits with many of these songs. I like them better than a lot of them I hear from regular artists. So, I can’t wait to hear them on the radio.

I like all the songs, some more than others. My favorite (based on the teeny snippets, so I reserve the right to change my mind) is “Fever” — I love the attitude, plus the fact that the music doesn’t overpower his vocals. “Strut” is my second fave. I like the vibe of it — it’s like nothing else on the radio. Can’t wait to hear the songs in their entirety!

Thanks for inviting us to speak “for Adam’s sake.” I like him and his art sooooo much that I welcome the opportunity to help him achieve his best:
I like most of these songs and I LOVE ” Soaked.” However, Adam announced that he wanted to CREATE his own sound. In these songs are not his. The commercial writers and producers have assigned Adam the money-making task of singing THEIR (mostly) techno-pop style (except Muse). These songs are different only because of Adam’s unique voice quality and range. I hope, when he is free of the A I “product developers,” he will dig deaper — much deeper — to find his own sound and style. Other greats (Bowie, Queen, Zeppelin, Prince, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Cash, Aretha, Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald, Satchmo, Muse, etc., etc.) created their own styles and contributions…and I am looking forward to Adam doing the same.

I find the tracks on this album a bit too techno for me. A tad too much techno covering the beautiful voice of Adam. I rather Adam doing a voice + piano only type of songs. His voice reaches the deepest depths of my soul, brings tears to my eyes, puts a smile on my face! The producer puts too much echo and drowning his voice. Still, I love every song that he sings because I know he has put his best effort to sing the song to the best of his ability. His talent, his gifted voice and years of hard work is paying off finally. The world needs Adam to inject life into the music scene again. God created Adam. I want to be his Eve. *haha*

I disagree that the songs on the CD are “just covers”. Adam co-wrote at least 4 of them, and all but 2 or 3 were written specifically for Adam and his unique voice. All are appearing on a CD for the first time. A cover is a song that has already been performed by someone else and published on their CD. While it’s true Lady Gaga wrote one of the songs and hoped to perform it, she said she dropped it because she “couldn’t get it right”. Adam got it right! No shame in that, quite the contrary.

I love them all, but “SOAKED” showcases his voice more.
I am waiting to hear the actual CD cause I love them all but the sound is not right on my computer..music very loud can’t hear him! I’ve already pre-ordered 3 or 4.
Too much techno, maybe for older fans but still like it. LOL

Several people here and elsewhere have said they don’t like the techno/pop songs… People, were you at the tour this summer? Did you SEE him dance to the Bowie Medley? Do you NOT want him to do that (and more) for his solo tour?! As for me, his dance songs (FYE, Fever, If I Had You, Sure Fire Winners) are my absolute favorites! Though A Loaded Smile and Sleepwalker are sooo dreamy…

I love love love FYE, and of the other snippets, I love the ones like Soaked and Broken Open which showcase his voice, and I really LOVE the ones that I know will get him moving (and the audience, too) when he’s singing them (OMG thinking of him maybe dancing to some of these….ahhh!). If I Had You, Strut, & Pick U Up are faves, and Fever. I find of all the songs, the ones that keep playing in my head are If I Had You and Strut, but esp If I Had You. I just think that one would be so much fun to watch him sing and dance along with him – a really happy song! :) But I really love ALL of them. Come quickly Nov 23!!
