Transcript:
Journalist: Adam, you probably don’t know that but you are CRAZY popular here in Israel.
Adam Lambert: Really?
Journalist: People love you there and your fans are really, really active, they follow you around…
Adam Lambert: wow…
Journalist: … You don’t know that so for the first time we decided at our show to let the viewers ask the questions…
Adam Lambert: ..Cool!..
Journalist: Then the interviewer is..just a mannequin..
Adam Lambert: Nice!!
Journalist: First of all Daar Ishai Mai – that’s their names and many others would like to know more about the youtube videos of your singing in Hebrew at the memorial for Izhak Rabin. How did you get there?
Adam Lambert: I had made friends with the cantor in one of the temples here in Los Angeles and she was also musical director and a writer and she just asked me if I’d like to be involved – I was doing it all the time. And I don’t actually know Hebrew very well, no..
Journalist: Do you remember some of the lyrics?
Adam Lambert: No, I had to learn it phonetically, just – you know – by repetition – and got some coaching from her how to pronounce everything…..
