Last time Adam Lambert was at the cover of Rolling Stone and this time the whole edition of the magazine is a tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
And in the magazine we find contributions from many artists, among others also Adam Lambert.
As we read at barnesandnoble.com who are in charge of preordering/selling the magazine:
Rolling Stone brings you the definitive tribute to the King of Pop, with a dazzling 96 page special issue (plus 4 covers) chonicling the thrilling highs and chilling lows of Michael Jackson from Motown to Thriller to Neverland Ranch. The vast majority of the material here is new, thanks to essays from Will.i.am, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Sheryl Crow, Slash, Adam Lambert, Usher, L.A. Reid, Akon, Brooke Shields, Gamble and Huff, Wyclef Jean, Ne-Yo, Weird Al, Martin Scorsese, Glen Ballard, John Landis, plus the Rolling Stone staff. Also included are reprints of two classic Rolling Stone cover stories, one from 1973 by Ben Fong Torres, and a 1983 piece by Gerri Hershey.
Looks like Adam is in good company and it also seems to me that it is the beginning of his good and long relationship with Rolling Stone…

Good for him!
Adam’s man with incredibly strong personal integrity, a characteristic that is missing from so many people in the spotlight these days…*ergo, the Palin thingie that’s taking place these days*… and the Universe will take good care of Adam, I believe. RS recognizes this ephemeral and rare quality and they’re so smart to partner up with someone with his strong energy.
I’ll also buy my 4th RS…the first 3 were the Adam version…one for bedtime reading for me and 2 for keeping for my kids!

I imagine one of the reasons that Adam was asked to contribute is that he is such an articulate person. He can express for many the influence Michael’s music had on his generation.

I ordered the magazine subscription because I had such a hard time finding the Adam one. It is like $15 for a year and 8 extra free issues. This way at least I am sure to get RS. I remember when it looked more like a newspaper…….
