What Adam means, about the emotional exchange between him and Adam’s Fans (the Concert going audience) is: that when the audience vocalizes (Cheers) with their,LOUD & Extreme Delight~ and VERY Positive Energy, with Adam’s singing & performance it ACTUALLY Raises Adam’s Energy. And therefore, Adam will actually, Perform BETTER! Adam has said so, himself, on ‘Idol’.
If the audience energy was LOW; or if they just sat there, SILENT.
Which would NEVER happen. Adam would say, …”come on Guys, Help Me out here”… And his Energy level would DROP.
You get it? Positive Energy and Raw Emotion from the audience, equals a BETTER Improved Performance. Even when singing a Duet, if your fellow singer is just “phoning it in”. And singing just enough to be “safe”, it will bring the other Performer’s performance, DOWN.
I remember watching “American Idol” when Adam was on stage singing his VERY BEST and the ‘backup’ singers…Oh, they were singing like they were SLEEPING! How do you sing…with ADAM LAMBERT… and sleep?! Are you kidding me?! I just remember thinking to myself (with my head in my hands), shaking my head, “no, you can’t be serious”…. HOW can ADAM sing SO well,
WITH ‘backup’ singers “sleep singing”?! You know, like sleep walking, only with singing. The Singing Lecture is over.
