Adam Lambert and his stalker – truth or Internet rumor?

Since some days now I have been following the increasing communication and speculations about Adam Lambert and his supossed female stalker.
I collected all information I managed to collect from different sites about this issue.
I will also keep you updated once I know more.

Did Adam Lambert have a stalker during Tampa show? suggests that the stalker-gate started in the Idol Tour concert in Tampa

Adam Lambert fans have rallied in support of the American Idol star claiming that he was the victim of a female stalker while performing in the Tampa Bay American Idol 2009 Summer Tour in St. Petersburg, Florida. The show, which was performed on July 28, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., was looked forward to by American Idol fans with fervor and excitement. Of course, the hopes of meeting Adam Lambert in person after the show was enough to drive thousands to the arena. Those hopes were dashed however, when it was revealed that a stalker had threatened the singer’s safety. It’s important to note, however, that no arrests made, and no reports except for those coming from Adam’s fans on his official website and Twitter reports have surfaced to validate the claims of an alleged stalker.

And her conclusion is clear

It must be stated that until there is a police report verifying the stalker incident, this could very well simply be another Internet rumor.

Also in Examiner.com we read on the 3rd of August 2009 that Adam Lambert removed from meet and greet at Bank Atlantic Center due to rumored stalkers, article by Melanie Heywood

Reports stated that “evidently there [were] some people…wearing some insulting Adam, t-shirts and there is some girl outside by the buses who they are concerned about. So Adam didn’t come out to see the fans.”

    I certainly HOPE it’s NOT true… I’ll just die.

But you do have to understand that just because there’s no police report doesn’t mean it may not have happened. You have to remember, that unfortunately, you can’t arrest protesters if they’re being peaceful and unfortunately, the police can’t “jack up” someone who merely looks suspicious. However, being complacent about threats is the worst thing you can do. It’s always best to take a “better safe than sorry” approach.
Remember fans: TAKE VIDEOS OF PROTESTERS AND SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE AND POST THEM ON YOU TUBE and we’ll take care of the rest.
